Venezuela: Maduro ready to face in early presidential ballot

Venezuela's pro-authorities Constituent Assembly has ordered clean elections earlier than the quit of April.

President Nicolas Maduro told thousands of his supporters at a rally that he is ready to are seeking for any other six-12 months term.

"It's the proper decision. Imperialism and the right were plotting to take over the financial system," said Mr Maduro.

The opposition is weakened and divided and most of the president's major capacity challengers are in self-imposed exile or in jail.

But former presidential candidate Henrique Capriles said the authorities turned into so unpopular that it is able to lose the vote.


"The authorities and its leaders annoy the majority of Venezuelans," he tweeted, urging the competition to "unite to shop democracy".
